Prospective clients

Prospective clients

Thanks so much for your interest in working with me. My practice is already very busy and for this reason I limit my new client intake to just two or three new clients a week. I like to choose these carefully to ensure a positive experience for everyone. For this reason, I ask you to have a “clarity” call with my assistant, Lucy Beckford, first, to assess whether we are a good fit to work together.

My chosen clients are those who are committed to their own well-being and prepared to work on any aspects that may be obstacles to them returning to health and vitality. For this reason, I give preference to people who are active members of Mary’s Homeopathy Study Group on Facebook. If you are not a Facebook user please familiarize yourself with the basic ideas behind homeopathy – The Law of Similars, The Law of the Minimum Dose and Direction of Cure. My site has a free, short online course that covers this simply homeopathyworld.com

Please read the following carefully to ensure you are happy with my terms before making contact:

Training and credentials

These are covered thoroughly on this site. You acknowledge that I am not an MD and that I am not taking on the role of your primary care physician.

Privacy and Communication

You agree to work with me privately and not to discuss the work we do together in any public forum, including Facebook and Mary’s Homeopathy Group, unless by prior mutual agreement. You agree to communicate with me directly and clearly about any concerns you may have. You agree not to take other remedies, besides the ones I suggest, unless it is an emergency situation or we have discussed it beforehand.

Costs and credit

You agree to my fees of $895 for the initial Constitutional Care Plan. This involves four appointments over a 3-6 month period. The full amount is due the week before our first scheduled appointment and is non-refundable. My commitment to you is to do my best and to partner with you in restoring your health. I cannot, and do not, guarantee the outcome. I reserve the right to end our agreement, if these terms and conditions are not followed.

Payment is by credit or debit card and full payment must be made before the initial consultation. If you don’t already have my Blue 36 remedy Deluxe Family Kit please add one from my homeopathykits.com site. Please don’t make any payment until you have been accepted as a client and offered an appointment time. Here is my online checkout:

Remedy costs

Please note that the cost of remedies (and shipping) are not included in the $895 fee. You should expect to pay approximately $20+ per constitutional remedy, including regular shipping.

You agree to have a 36 remedy Deluxe Family Kit on hand at all times, in case of injuries or acute illnesses.

More about the Constitutional Care Plan

You agree to work with me via the Zoom Room link we will provide. Your computer/ tablet/ smartphone should have an activated camera, in a fixed position, and a microphone. Please test everything beforehand.
The first session, the intake appointment, is 80 minutes long. I then allow myself a further period of research time over the following week. The remedy, or remedies, I recommend, together with the homeopathic pharmacy info, will be sent to you via email. You agree to order these as soon as you receive the email from me. This initial email has very important information about how I work and your case management, so please read it carefully.

Immediately after taking your first dose of the remedy, you agree to contact my PA, Lucy, to arrange a follow up appointment with me for approximately four weeks later. This second session is a further 40 minute appointment where we go over the case, in detail, to see what improvements there have been and make decisions about the next steps needed. The third and fourth appointments are 20 minutes long and are usually booked at four week intervals. This may vary, depending on your progress I will advise you what interval to leave between sessions when we speak.

All four appointments should be completed within three to six months of taking your first dose of the original remedy I recommend. Please note that I can only extend the agreed time period in exceptional circumstances, because of my time commitments to other clients.

Any emails between appointments should be sent to Lucy and she will respond on my behalf, usually within 24 hours, during regular office hours on Monday through Friday. In an urgent situation, always contact your primary care physician or go to urgent care. After your visit to them, send an email summary to Lucy.

I do occasionally take time away from my practice. During these times I leave detailed instructions for my clients. If you need additional support from a homeopath while I am away, we will recommend one that you can contact. Please note this may involve additional payments to them, which you will be advised of beforehand.

Once your Constitutional Care Plan comes to an end, if you need more help a new agreement will be made, this is something we will discuss in the fourth session. If you have made good progress, the fourth appointment includes advice on how you can manage your own case and how to time remedy repetitions. At this point, most of my clients are ready to switch to a more ad hoc working arrangement with me, making appointments as needed.

Follow up appointments for constitutional care are $190 for two 20 minute sessions. Unless there has been a major change for the worse in your circumstances it is best to book the two 20 minute sessions. My constitutional care clients can also request an email appointment for serious injuries and acute minor illnesses (such as coughs, colds, flu, UTIs etc.) These cost $95.

Free 10 minute call

If this all sounds good and you are sure you are ready to make both the financial and time commitment involved, then contact us to arrange a time for your ‘clarity’ call with Lucy, to see if we are a good fit for one another.  Lucy will then get in touch with you to advise next steps.

Please note there may be a period on a waiting list before our first appointment is scheduled.

Wishing you well
